Crisalix 3D Consultation
Consultations offered at our three convenient locations in New Jersey, Bergen County and Englewood, NJ
Crisalix 3D is advanced imaging software for plastic and cosmetic surgery consultation. These meetings give patients a chance to visualize the results of a procedure before any surgery takes place with the help of computer-generated previews. Plastic surgery and aesthetics can be substantial investments, so it’s important to have the option to see what your new look will actually be like prior to your treatment date.
Crisalix 3D uses modeling technology to show surgeons and patients a vast array of outcomes, and it’s incredibly simple to use. Your consultation can happen in-office or even remotely in the comfort of your own home! Using digital scans or 2D photographs taken at specific angles, the Crisalix 3D software fills in the gaps to render an accurate three-dimensional image of the treatment area. Patients can see what different size breast implants will look like and how well they work with their overall physique, check to see what a chin augmentation will look like from the side profile, or see what their behinds will look like after a Brazilian Butt Lift. By rotating the image, and trying out different options you can see a clear picture of the results you’ll achieve and pick the perfect option!

Your Before and After: In Three Dimensions
Below are some examples of the way Dr. Abramson can use Crisalix 3D at your personal consultation.
Breast Augmentation
Three-dimensional breast imaging has provided valid, reproducible data for analyzing breast volume and contour. (1) Now, this technology can help patients feel more certain about what they will look like after their breast augmentation surgery.
Crisalix is particularly beneficial in breast augmentation treatment plans because implants come in a variety of shapes, sizes and projection levels, so the aesthetic possibilities are vast. Patients have a multitude of choices. And for some, it may be difficult to imagine how these implants will work out on their own body. Before 3D imaging software, it was a lot harder to show patients a visual representation of their results, but now, Crisalix allows patients to test out different implants to help them choose the look they like most.
Tummy Tuck
Have you ever wondered what your tummy would look like if it was flatter and more contoured? You can see ahead of time at an abdominoplasty consultation with Crisalix 3D!
Once your trunk is scanned, the Crisalix software will create an image that can be manipulated to simulate the reduction of tissue in the abdomen. Once the three-dimensional image is rendered, patients need only touch the control panel to see what their abdominal silhouette will look like after their tummy tuck. As well as showing the loss of fat and skin, a tummy tuck simulation can also show patients the site and length of scars, which are usually positioned for easy concealment along the pants line.
Facelift
One of the main concerns for facelift patients is getting natural-looking results from their surgery. And, since the advent of 3D imaging for cosmetic procedures, it’s a lot easier for surgeons to show what can be achieved!
The accuracy of Crisalix 3D’s facial mapping software is so realistic that many patients are surprised at just how much the simulated image resembles them! Skin tone and texture are accurately rendered, along with key points on the face, for a virtual creation of your unique features. With this fully rotatable model, Dr. Abramson can show you what your face looks like now, and what it will look like after your facelift. He does so by adjusting the settings shown on the on-screen control panel. He can lift skin virtually and show you what your results will be from the front and from a profile view.
The majority of breast augmentation patients want to see 3D imaging of their proposed surgery. Research suggests that in doing so, patient confidence in both the implant and the surgeon is higher. (2)
Preview Your New Look!
Using Crisalix 3D is straightforward and user-friendly. If you’re using it at home, simply download the software onto a compatible computer or smartphone, create a Crisalix account, then follow the on-screen directions to scan and preview your surgical outcomes.
In-Person Consultation
Your in-person consultation will take place at one of Dr. Abramson’s three locations in Manhattan, Englewood, NJ, or Bergen County NJ. At this time, you may wish to come prepared with questions about the procedure you are interested in. Dr. Abramson will ask you questions about your treatment goals and invite you to fill out some intake forms detailing your medical history and current medications. Once this is complete, he will perform a physical examination.
During your one-on-one session, Dr. Abramson will discuss the areas of treatment and note what you would like to change. He will give you an overview of the Crisalix 3D system and invite you to stand so that he can use the software to scan your body. Once this is completed, he can show you a fully realized three-dimensional image of your body for assessment, and manipulate it to show you surgical outcomes.
Remote Consultation
Dr. Abramson understands that not everyone is able to attend an in-person meeting. Therefore, he offers virtual consultation so he can meet and discuss surgical options with patients online. What’s more, setting up a Crisalix account is simple and free!
Patients can take their own “selfies” themselves and use the Crisalix software at home once they’ve created an account. With just three standard photos, the program can accurately reproduce your body shape.
