How to Choose The Right Breast Implant Size

If you are considering breast implants, chances are you are envisioning a certain size and look. It can be tempting, however, to go bigger, or to choose a size without considering the consequences down the road.

You should first consider several things:

  1. Your current breast size. You must have enough existing breast tissue to cover the implant. This may make some sizes too large
  2. Your chest and shoulder width. A small frame can’t support super large breasts. Fortunately, you can increase your breast size without going too large.
  3. Your lifestyle. If you are very active – either in daily life running after deadlines or children, or in the literal sense, running marathons – large breasts may get in the way of some activities.

You should also consider how your breasts will look as you age – and how they will affect your back and the rest of your body.
