NY Facial Rejuvenation Takes On A New Dimension

N.Y. Facial Rejuvenation has taken on a new dimension as chin and cheek implants have become more popular to assist in rebuilding underlying structure and to lift excess skin. By the same token, not everyone interested in facial rejuvenation will require facial implants. When women and men seek out preventive approaches such as medical grade skincare and less invasive face lifts, the signs of aging do not progress as quickly.  The least invasive approach is always the best. Thus, a consultation with board certified Dr. Abramson in as early as your thirties can be a wise move. Dr. Abramson develops both short term and long term treatment plans to help ensure graceful aging.

It has been concluded that jaw bone changes contribute to an aged appearance, according to a published report in the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Researchers viewed CT scans to measure the length, width, angle of the jaw bone in three age categories; ages 20-36, 41-64, and 65 and over.  The differentiation led to the conclusion that the jaw bone expands with age. In turn, the lower face loses definition and there is less support for the soft tissue of the lower face and neck. Consequently, there is a focus on working on underlying structures of the face before a facelift to provide a total rejuvenated appearance for select candidates.
